We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Newport. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative mechanical systems and processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Create detailed designs for mechanical systems, components, or products using CAD software.
• Build and test prototypes, ensuring functionality, efficiency, and adherence to specifications.
• Diagnose issues in mechanical systems and develop effective solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, project managers, and production staff, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Ensure all designs and projects comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and industry codes.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables effectively.
• Maintenance and Optimization: Analyze and improve existing systems to enhance performance and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical engineering (minimum 2–5 years preferred).
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with [specific tools, technologies, or methodologies used in the company’s field].
• Experience in [specific industries, e.g., renewable energy, automotive, or HVAC].
• Knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) or computational fluid dynamics (CFD).

Package:

• £60,000 – £80,000
• £5,000 car allowance
• Monday to Friday
