Project Manager

I am working with a highly successful regional contractor to recruit an experienced Project Manager to take responsibility and leadership for their defence contract in the Dockyard.

My client is looking for someone to take leadership of this contract which potentially runs until 2035 and you will be overseeing a number of projects as part of the framework contract.

Duties will include:

• Manage and take responsibility for all members of the project delivery team.
• Ensure design management is controlled and delivered to the project programme.
• Manage supply chain and develop strong relationships.
• Complete supply chain reviews where applicable.
• Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of company and defence information.
• Keep up to date with industry changes and legislation that will affect tenders.
• Chair and deliver review meetings.

Suitable candidates:

• Must have excellent construction knowledge
• Will have good programming skills. (Asta and Project would be an advantage)
• Will be able to manage a number of stakeholders
• Have the ability to project manage a number of projects and staff
• Must be able to pass stringent security checks
• Must have extensive experience as a Project Manager with NEC experience.

On offer:

• Salary circa £62,000 + Package.
