The Role
As Site Manager, you will take a leading role on large-scale education schemes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Working alongside a highly experienced team, you’ll be responsible for managing all site-based activities, coordinating subcontractors, and liaising closely with clients and the internal project team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and programme adherence
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site teams
- Maintain excellent client and stakeholder relationships
- Monitor site progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions
- Drive health & safety standards across the site
- Ensure accurate reporting and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering large, complex construction projects
- Strong background with well-regarded regional or national contractors
- Experience delivering high-value education or public sector projects preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications essential
- Full UK driving licence
