Celebrating Success: Highlights from Our Charity Golf Day
On May 23rd, we had the pleasure of hosting our highly anticipated Charity Golf Day at the stunning Celtic Manor Resort. The event was a tremendous success, thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of our clients, supporters, and sponsors. We are thrilled to announce that we raised an incredible £13,000 for our chosen charities, Ty Hafan and The Lighthouse.
A Day to Remember
The day kicked off with a warm welcome and a hearty English breakfast buffet at the 2010 clubhouse. Guests enjoyed a variety of delicious options, from fresh pastries and breads to classic breakfast items like eggs, bacon, and sausages. The driving range was open early, allowing participants to warm up and perfect their swings before the tournament began.
At 10:15 AM, we gathered for a briefing, setting the stage for the exciting day ahead. By 10:30 AM, golfers were directed to their buggies, eagerly anticipating the shotgun start at 11:00 AM. The tournament featured friendly competition across the picturesque 2010 course, with prizes awarded for the winning teams, best individual performance, longest drive, and nearest the pin.
Post-Game Celebrations
As golfers completed their rounds and returned to the clubhouse around 4:00 PM, the Spike Bar opened, providing a relaxed atmosphere for everyone to unwind and share stories from the day’s play. Dinner service began at 5:00 PM, offering a delightful dining experience and a chance to continue socialising.
During dinner, we held a charity raffle with exciting prizes generously donated by our supporters. The raffle added an extra layer of fun to the evening, and all proceeds went directly to Ty Hafan and The Lighthouse.
