Mid Cornwall

Salary £30,000 – £40,000 & Enhanced package  

Sphere Solutions are working in partnership with a well known house builder to recruit a well versed Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their Cornwall division. Playing an integral part of the team, you will report to the Commercial Manager and work closely with a Senior QS to assist the commercial delivery of developments within the region.

You will assist with cost management, from procurement to the completion of sub-contract final accounts. You will attend site pre-start meetings, assist with the compiling of tender packages, process invoices and application and much more. Previous experience with a main contractor or developer carrying out similar duties is essential.

Suitable candidates will possess the following:

• HNC/Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar.
• Must have a good understanding and knowledge of building regulations and construction methods and materials.
• COINS experience would be preferred.
• Proven experience within this role is essential.
