Role Overview

As an Assistant Site Manager, you will be pivotal in supporting the Site Manager with the smooth and efficient operation of construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in new-build housing to develop their career in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of Direct Labour and Sub-Contractors: Oversee on-site teams to ensure effective and efficient operations.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all site health protocols and site set-up are undertaken in line with company standards and industry regulations.
• Material and Subcontractor Orders: Accurately process and record all orders for materials and subcontractors.
• Quality Control: Monitor and report on the quality of work at various stages of construction.
• Attend Site Meetings: Regularly attend site meetings to review progress and resolve any issues.
• Customer Liaison: Act as a key point of contact between clients and the site team, ensuring client expectations are met.

Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

• Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager, specifically within new-build volume housing projects.
• Essential qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.
• A Full UK driving license is required due to the location of the sites.
