Are you an experienced Contracts Manager with a background in carpentry and joinery? Do you have the skills to oversee new build housing and commercial projects across Cornwall? The Role: Contracts Manager

As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple carpentry packages across a range of new build housing and commercial projects. You will oversee project planning, resourcing, health & safety, and quality control, ensuring smooth project delivery from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee multiple projects across Cornwall, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Manage carpentry teams and subcontractors, ensuring high standards of workmanship.
• Work closely with site managers, developers, and main contractors to coordinate work.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct site visits and inspections, identifying and resolving any issues.
• Liaise with clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the carpentry or joinery sector.
✅ Strong knowledge of new build housing and commercial projects.
✅ Excellent project management and leadership skills.
✅ Good understanding of health & safety regulations and industry best practices.
✅ CSCS Card (Essential).
✅ SMSTS Qualification (Ideally Required).
✅ Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
✅ Full UK driving licence – travel to sites across Cornwall required.
