Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support project leaders in delivering a high standard of commercial service and successful project outcomes. The role will focus on effective contract administration, risk management, negotiation, and cost control, ensuring profitability and accurate cash flow projections.

You will contribute to a collaborative environment that promotes innovation, professional growth, and the sharing of best practices across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate and liaise with system subcontractors.
• Provide advice and guidance on contractual issues.
• Ensure commercial compliance across current contracts, safeguarding the company’s position.
• Report regularly to the Commercial Manager, Project Director, and relevant stakeholders on subcontract performance and status.
• Assist senior staff with pricing variations across mechanical, electrical, and general scopes.
• Maintain accurate cost control throughout project lifecycles.
• Support the Commercial and Contract Managers in producing monthly cost and progress reports.
• Assist with procurement, tendering, contract administration, and work package management.

Requirements

• Minimum BSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).
• At least 4 years’ post-graduate experience in a similar Quantity Surveying role.
• Previous NEC contract experience (NEC3 or NEC4 Option C).
  OR
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience working on building and/or civils projects (desirable).
