Senior Project Manager

South West – Devon & Somerset

We are seeking an experienced senior construction professional to fulfil a Senior Project Managers role, covering the South West, Devon & Somerset.

Operating across the region, this role will focus on the management and delivery of construction projects ranging in value from £5m – £25m. Projects will be primarily based in the Public Sector and experience in leading projects from pre-construction through to delivery/handover is required.

 The role:

• Oversee and manage construction projects, delivering cost-effective, safe, and timely solutions.
• Assume responsibility for pre-construction phases, including planning.
• Lead and coordinate site teams to ensure efficient project execution, within time scales and budget.
• Foster effective client relationships, provide guidance and management of client team expectations.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, considering timelines and resource allocation.
• Implement robust budgetary controls to ensure projects stay within financial constraints.
• Prioritize and uphold health and safety standards across all construction activities.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a Senior Project Managers capacity or similar role within the construction industry
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a large team providing direction and guidance for project success.
• To be able to nurture both existing and new client and consultant relationships, providing effective client engagement.
• Relevant degree in construction management or a related field, ideally MCIOB
