We have an excellent opportunity to join a market leader within house building. My client is looking for a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong housing background to join their Cornwall division.

To be successful, you must have experience in leading commercial activities on mixed tenure developments, you must be proven in commercial and risk management on similar schemes, be able to optimise cashflow, present and agree external valuations, prepare and manage key and large risk subcontract accounts.

Other duties will include:

• Control, monitor and improve commercial processes.
• Prepare monthly CVR & VCA reports.
• Monitor risk and opportunity schedules.
• Manage and undertake personal development reviews and training.
• Ensure company health & safety standards and procedures are followed.

Please only apply if you have the following:

• Proven experience with either a main contractor or developer.
• Must be able to demonstrate strong account management and commercial experience.
• Able to successfully communicate and create rapport to form positive working relationships.
• BSC Hons Quantity Surveying or equivalent or preferred.
• Experience using COINS would be advantageous.
