About the Role

Sphere Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a leading construction contractor delivering large-scale projects across Cornwall.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven site leader to take full responsibility for on-site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role from pre-construction through to final handover, driving programme and performance on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring programme, quality, and safety targets are met
• Oversee site activities including subcontractors, trades, and direct labour
• Ensure health & safety regulations and company standards are adhered to
• Coordinate site teams
• Chair site meetings and client and progress meetings
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the SMT
• Ensure all works are completed in line with drawings, specifications, and regulations
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation

Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or Site Manager on contracting / apartment schemes
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, including reinforced concrete (RC) structures
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and deliver to tight programmes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Relevant site qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid) preferred
