Trainee Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join a locally-based construction company. This office-based role near Ivybridge offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced commercial team known for its inclusive and outstanding culture.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in quantity surveying, with a view to taking on their own projects under guidance and supervision.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Commercial with a range of commercial and financial functions.
• Learn and apply the principles of quantity surveying while supporting senior team members.
• Gain experience in project management under supervision.
• Provide support to the team with data entry, reports, and analysis.

Criteria

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a Commercial Administration or Surveying role.
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel.
• Must live within a commutable distance to Ivybridge with your own transport.
• A full UK driving licence is required as some travel to sites will be necessary.
