Facilities Manager

Calling all Facilities Manager’s for a long-standing MOD maintenance contract.

  • Midlands / South – with region-wide travel
  • £45,000-£47,000 & package
  • Permanent

You will be joining a direct delivery team, managing a pipeline of small projects up to £25k across a large MoD site and surrounding locations.

Duties will include:

  • You will be responsible for overseeing the direct delivery of a programme of Billable Works from concept-design-pricing-delivery-handover, whilst complying with all Health & Safety and Environmental standards and policies
  • Review risk assessments, and method statements, agree on works to be carried out, and manage the design and scope process to provide a tender package through to delivery.
  • Liaison with the direct delivery team and contractors to ensure works are delivered efficiently and in a timely manner and Budget

Suitable candidates will possess the following:

  • Previous experience within facility management or built estates managing small works, including scoping of works, pricing and delivery up to £25k.
  • Good knowledge of CDM regulations.
  • An HNC/ONC or equivalent level qualification in a Building / Civil Engineering or Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline is desirable.
  • IOSH and or SMSTS preferred not essential.
  • Good IT skills, previous experience working with CAFM systems such as Maximo being desirable and SharePoint,
  • You must be able to pass SC Clearance to be considered for this role.
  • Hold a UK Driving License – will be extensive travel across the Midlands and Southern regions, staying away from home when the business demands (at the company’s expense).
