Document Controller

I’m looking for a Document Controller to join one of our clients.

  • Permanent
  • Newport – South Wales
  • Main building contractor

Working on a major project in the area, the roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Set up, copy, scan and store documents
  • Create templates
  • Manage requests for documentation
  • File documents in physical and digital records and ensure appropriate storage
  • Review and maintain the accuracy of the records, editing where necessary to ensure they are up to date
  • To liaise with and distribute project-related information with all levels of the project team and potentially external parties
  • Manage the processes around documentation within the organisation
  • Maintain confidentiality around sensitive documentation
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects when required.
  • The company uses a popular and well-known document control software package. If you have all-round good IT knowledge and experience with any document control software, it is a system you should be able to use easily.

The role is an excellent long-term opportunity for someone. The project itself will go on for more than 3 years.
